Always a crowd favourite, the 1943 Boeing Stearman will once again be on display at the airport for visitors to see on Saturday, November 8.

The Warrnambool Aero Club will once again hold its end of year celebration and is extending an invitation to the general public to come along to the Koroit airstrip for the day.

“The day is always a fun one, with festivities starting at around 10.30am,” club secretary Janek Krause said.

“Families and aviation enthusiasts will be kept busy with a variety of aircraft on display, a barbecue lunch and coffee van, as well as face painting and a jumping castle for the kids.

“There will also be plenty of opportunities to meet local pilots and learn more about aviation in the region.”

Organisers are also looking to include a raffle on the day – with a trial introductory flight prize up for grabs.
