A welcoming space for inclusion
SELF Advocates Connected is a welcoming, supportive group for people living with an intellectual disability or acquired brain injury.

Ran by those with a disability or acquired brain injury, the group currently meets on the second Wednesday of each month (10.30am-12noon) at the Archie Graham Centre in Warrnambool.
Working together in an inclusive environment, the group supports people to speak up for their rights and help others do the same; learn and share information, ideas and skills; plan and work together for more inclusive communities; develop leadership skills, and to be part of training and events.
“The group is all about inclusivity and advocating for the rights of all,” project coordinator Rachael Gleeson said.
“Our group meets regularly at Archie Graham, providing members with a safe and supportive environment to talk, laugh, share experiences and make new friends.

“As our membership grows we would also like to look at meeting in other towns across the south west. Membership is free and people are welcome to attend as many or as few meetings as they like.”
New members are always welcome.
