Aboriginal culture celebrated

THE Civic Green was awash with colour, music and art last weekend.

Saturday’s ‘MAAR Day Out’ provided local groups and artists an opportunity to showcase traditional dance, live Blak music and aboriginal art.

This celebration of aboriginal culture offered weaving and traditional etching workshops which were greatly enjoyed by people of all ages.

The Blak markets once again proved popular with visitors while displays of traditional dance kept audiences well entertained.
