Action at East Fram
ACTION continued on the fairways at the East Framlingham Golf Club last weekend.
The men’s A grade winner was Trevor Blackley on 38 points followed by Ayden Bosse 34, Gerard Eccles 32, Neil McDonald 31 and Murray Drake 30.
B grade was won by Josh McDonald on 35 points, with Brett Holmes second on 31.
They were followed by Henry Waugh on 28, Ben Dinwoodie 26 and Ray Eccles 26.
Nearest the pins: 3rd and 9th Gerard Eccles, 6th and 7th Brett Willsher.
The social winner was Trevor Blackley who also won the captain’s trophy.
This Saturday will be a three club day.
Twenty ladies played a four-person Texas ambrose on Tuesday.
The winners were Jenny Mapleson, Barb Hill, Lyn Cook and Theresa Bant on 64.25 net, followed by runners-up Maureen O’Loughlan, Mary Brian, Robyn McLeod and Gwneda Malseed on 65.625 net.
The super pin went to Mary Brian while Pauline Armstrong took the lucky card.
Next week is stroke (July monthly medal).
