The 2026 Victorian Wingless Sprint title will headline this Saturday night’s program in what is shaping up to be a great night of racing.

As of Wednesday this week, 53 nominations had been received including former Terang resident Brad Warren who will make the trip from his Pakenham home to race.

While Warren will be eager to keep his hands on the V1, he will be hard pressed by brother Jake.

Cobden siblings Blake and Carly Walsh will also be keen to get on the podium, as will Mt Gambier brothers Mitchell and Ryan Broome.

Blake Walsh is the current South Australian and Northern Territory title holder and is tipped to be a ‘red hot’ chance to win.

This event will be a great warm-up to the national championships in Western Australia on April 17 and 18 at the Perth Motorplex.

Warrnambool drivers entered for this Saturday include Nirranda’s Luke Weel, Mick Rigby and former national champion Alex Ross who will return to the clay after a three-year absence.

Speedcars and late models are also on the program, with a big field of cars expected.

Gates open at 4pm Saturday with racing from 5.30pm.
