Black Friday market tonight
LIEBIG Street will be the place to be tonight (Friday) with late-night shopping, market stalls and live entertainment helping to kick off the festive season.

The Black Friday Twilight Market will run from 3.30pm until about 7.30pm tonight, Friday, November 28.
Over 50 market stalls will line Liebig Street and the streets nearby while over 30 local businesses will also be open late.
Visitors can enjoy live music from Mick Hughes, Joseph Lim, Hash Magandy Blues and Celtic Strings.

There will be a special children’s singing event at the Warrnambool Breastfeeding Centre from 5pm-6pm.
Amplify (previously FreeZa) will be set up in Liebig Street near the seal, and at the Civic Green, with live music, a dance party, art exhibition and young makers market.
Warrnambool mayor Cr Ben Blain said he was looking forward to a busy month ahead.
“This is the fourth year in a row we’ve had a market event in the CBD, and it’s just growing and growing,” he said.
“Events like this help to bring people into our vibrant city centre at a really important time of year for local businesses.
“It’s the start of a big month for the city centre in the lead up to Christmas, with lots happening.
“It’s all about creating a festive and fun atmosphere and giving people another great reason to spend time in the city centre.”

The fun continues in December with a kids’ Christmas activity day on the Civic Green on Saturday December 6, the “Santa’s Stable” petting zoo on Saturday December 13, a pop-up cinema on Sunday December 14, a twilight dessert night on Friday December 19, and a Nature Play Day featuring an aerial performance by the Flying Flamingos.
