Blues season comes to an end
SOUTH Warrnambool’s under 14 footballers will take on the Hamilton Kangaroos in this weekend’s Hampden League grand final.

The young Roosters will head to Mortlake’s Wilsons DC Farran Oval on Sunday in the hope of bringing home the 2026 premiership flag.
The Roosters earnt their spot on the big stage after defeating Warrnambool Blues in the qualifying final last Sunday week.
Final scores in the qualifying round were South Warrnambool 5.6.35 to the Blues 2.2.14.
The Blues’ season came to an end at the Bushfield Recreation Reserve last Sunday when they went down to Hamilton by 29 points, 7.7.49 to 2.8.20 in the preliminary final.
Best for the Blues last weekend were Darcy Burns, Dusty Holloway, Murphy Rea and Finn Beaton – with goals to Timothy Boyd and Levi Ciurleo.
This Sunday’s grand final match at Mortlake will kick off at 12 noon.
