Bowlers bring home gold

WARRNAMBOOL indoor bowlers have brought home four gold medals from the Ballarat Intergroup Championships.

Warrnambool was well represented at the annual event, with 52 players on the greens, divided into two teams; Warrnambool Orange and Warrnambool Blue.

Congratulations to the following players from the Warrnambool Orange team who won their respective competitions:

Rodney Wilson (men’s singles), Helen Harney and Barb Draffen (ladies’ pairs); Yvonne Lenehan, Debbie Keane and Gill Phillips (ladies’ triples); and Di Mugavin, Vivian O’Grady, Jules Pollock and Nettie Ryan (ladies’ fours).
