Cats 316-point winners
ROUND two of the Warrnambool and District Football Netball League on Saturday threw up some varied results.

The closest football match of the day saw Russells Creek defeat reigning premiers Nirranda by three points at the Reid Oval, 9.19.73 to 10.10.70.
Lochie Chadderton, Thomas Smith, Dylan Shircore and Sam Kelly kicked two goals each for Creek, with Shircore, Kelly and Andrew McMeel best for the Kangaroos.
Recruit Nick Harding kicked three goals for Nirranda, with Reagan Nutting, Dylan Philp and Brayden Harkness best for the Blues.
At Allansford, the Cats absolutely demolished a struggling Dennington by 316 points, 50.22.322 to 1.0.6.
Spearhead Robbie Hare bagged 12 goals for Allansford, with Rani Jamieson kicking seven.
Best for the Cats were Zavier Mungean, Jonah Maher and Hare.
Dennington’s best were Brad Johnson, Jordan Garner and Luke Driscoll, with Driscoll kicking the lone goal.

At Merrivale, South Rovers continued its resurgence with an 11-point win over the home team, 10.8.68 to 8.9.57.
Jayden Watson and Jack Hope kicked three goals for the Rovers, with Liam Bishop, Zac Urquhart and Jaxen Dalton best.
For Merrivale, Nathan Krepp and Manny Sandow kicked three goals each, with Jalen Porter, Jack Gleeson and Manny Sandow best for the Tigers.
Panmure registered its first win of the season, defeating the Timboon Demons 15.5.95 to 8.15.63 at the Panmure Recreation Reserve.
Tyler Humphrey, Patrick Sinnott and Declan Bourke were best for the Bulldogs, with Sinnott kicking five goals and Lachlan McLeod four.
Best for the Demons were Oscar Norman, Tarkyn Love and Ben Newey, with Norman and Love kicking three goals each.
At Davidson Oval, Old Collegians scored a 39-point win over Kolora-Noorat, 13.7.85 to 6.10.46.
Best for the Warriors were Matt Petherick, Jacob Brooks and Jake Bateman, with Greg Bond kicking three goals.
Best for the Power were former coach Sam Uwland, Ben Carlin and Ted Kenna, with Kenna kicking three goals.
In the A grade netball, Nirranda had a 40-28 win against Russells Creek.
Best for the Blues were Maddie Craven, Thalia Coates and Bella Wallace, with Steph Townsend shooting 27 goals.
Alice Cann, Fleur Mahoney and Molly Evans were best for Russells Creek, with Evans scoring 20 goals.
Merrivale scored a 59-39 win over South Rovers.
Layne Porter, Cloe O’Flaherty and Tahni Porter were best for Merrivale, with Chloe Lovel shooting 30 goals and Paiyton Noonan 27.
Best for South Rovers were Molly Anderson, Chloe Manuell and Meg McCutcheon, with Grace Mugavin scoring 26 goals.
Panmure registered a 45-41 victory in its match against Timboon.
Sienna Wickenton, Lori Irving and Elizabeth Yeo were best for the Bulldogs, with Marley Talbot scoring 17 goals.
For the Demons, captain Laura Rosolin scored 25 goals, with Amy Kavenagh, Holly Kordupel and Macy Gale best.
Old Collegians scored a 54-37 win over Kolora-Noorat.
Best for the Warriors were Maggie Kline, Kate Martin and Olivia Lenehan, with Lenehan scoring 17 goals and Kline 16.
For the Power, Tara Elliott scored 18 goals with Mahni Beasley and May Suhan best.
Allansford’s netballers handed out a similar treatment to Dennington that their footballers did, winning 115-1.
Best for the Cats were Jessica Rohan, Lilly Sanderson and Abbey Day, with Day shooting 56 goals and Sanderson 49.
Sophie Jellie, Phoebe Stuart and Amber Dowd were Dennington’s best, with Meg Ludeman scoring the only goal.
This Saturday’s ANZAC Day matches will see Timboon host Old Collegians at Timboon, Kolora Noorat take on Allansford at Noorat, Dennington will play Nirranda at Dennington, while Merrivale will play a night game against Russells Creek at Merrivale.
South Rovers will host Panmure in a standalone Sunday game at Walter Oval.
