Clear skies for Fire Night
HUNDREDS of visitors enjoyed toasted marshmallows, music and open fires at last weekend’s Fire Night at Flagstaff Hill.

Locals and visitors to the region rugged up and headed outdoors on Saturday night, with the popular event once again drawing big crowds.
As children took turns to ring the bell at the front of the school building, adults enjoyed live music from the Over Time Duo while the café and food vans were kept busy serving hot chocolates and other tasty treats.

The firing of the swivel gun, ‘Thunderchild,’ was once again a popular attraction, as was the opportunity to look through Flagstaff Hill’s various buildings.
