Warrnambool West Primary School and South West Healthcare last week launched the ‘Bridging Our Community Hub.’

The hub was the brainchild of Melinda Hitchcock and Karen Holdsworth, designed to bring together multicultural families living in Warrnambool, creating a welcoming space to build relationships, share experiences, access local information and connect with support services.

Through fortnightly sessions held at the school, families will have opportunities to network, develop connections and feel a stronger sense of belonging.

In partnership with local services, the hub aims to break down barriers, celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment where every family feels valued and supported.

“The launch marks the beginning of a growing community network built on connection, understanding and togetherness in Warrnambool,” Warrnambool West Primary School principal Karen Holdsworth said.
