Corbett wins scratch

SIXTY-six players took to the course at East Framlingham for the twilight series on Wednesday, December 3.

Ross Corbett finished on 35 to take out the men’s scratch while Ray Eccles won the handicap on 41-12-29.

Barry Suhan won the non-handicap scratch on 48 while the non-handicap went to Jason McSwain 54-16-38.

Anne Grenfell finished on 53 to take out the ladies’ scratch while Lorraine Kane won the ladies’ non-handicap scratch.

In the junior competition, Louis Kenna finished on 51 to take the under 14 scratch and Gus Kenna won the handicap with 55-18-37.

The longest drives went to Murray Smith and Lorraine Kane.

Nearest the pins: 1st Brett Willsher, 2nd Ross Corbett, 3rd Lee Haberfield, 4th Gerard Kenna, 6th James McLeod, 7th Darren Hansford, 8th Mac Carlin and 9th Brett Wilshire.

Gerard Eccles won the raffle winner.
