Cudgee launches Cornhole competition
IF you’re looking for a fun-filled day out with family and friends next weekend, head to Cudgee.

Cudgee is set for an exciting, family-friendly day thanks to a group of dedicated volunteers who have been busy organising the inaugural Cudgee Cornhole Competition.
Kicking off at 11am on Saturday, February 21 at the Cudgee Hall, the event will be open to all ages.
The competition will have children, teens, adults and mixed categories – making it a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere for both locals and visitors to the town.
Cudgee Hall president Mick Houlihan said the event was all about bringing people together in the heart of the town.
“This is a fun event that anyone can get involved in,” Mr Houlihan said.
“It’s easy to play and fun to watch.” The Cornhole Competition, which will be an annual feature for the town, is just one event on a new 12-month calendar that will see new life breathed into the historic Cudgee Hall.
“The Cudgee Hall is a great community space and we welcome everyone to join us for a fun, relaxed day,” Mr Houlihan said.
The Cudgee Cornhole Competition is open to everyone (no experience required) you simply just turn up, have a go, and enjoy a great day out in the town.
People are encouraged to take along a picnic.
Entry will be just $3 per person, which includes participation in one category.
Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the day, with a chance to win a fruit and vegetable box (drawn on the day) or some wood (drawn June 26).
The Cudgee hall can be found at Dwarroon Road, Cudgee. Doors open at 11am.
