Declan bowls them over

TEN year-old Declan Membery continues to shine in the bowling alleys.

The young champion, from Warrnambool’s Great Ocean Road Tenpin Bowl, was recently given the opportunity to represent ‘Team Bendigo’ in the Junior Shield.

Declan entered the competition with a 134 average and averaged 162 over the weekend – with a high game of 217.

His team finished seventh in graded and sixth in the open division.
