Drake wins A grade
MURRAY Drake had a consistent round on the East Framlingham golf course last weekend to take out A grade.
Drake finished on 40 points to lead the stableford event from Ben Lee on 39, Craig Lee 38, Bruce Knee 38 and Gerard Eccles 36.
The winner of B grade was Michael Casey on 40, followed by Jim Lewis 37, Ray Eccles 34, Glenn Tracey 33 and Josh McDonald 32.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Ray Eccles, 6th Ben Lee, 7th and 9th Nick Smith.
The social winner was Ross McLeod.

In the twilight competition on November 19, Dan Oakley won the men’s scratch on 35 while the handicap was won by Rob Field with 37-5-32.
Dan Lim won the men’s non-handicap scratch on 50, with J. Stewart taking out the non handicap on 51-16-35.
Julie Kenna was the ladies’ scratch winner with 55, while Pauline Armstrong won the ladies’ handicap on 60-18.5-41.5.
In the junior under 14 competition, Jon Kelly won scratch on 65 and Michelle Bourke won the handicap event with 57-25-32.
