Eagles eye off top spot
AFTER four rounds of Hampden League action, the Portland Tigers currently sit on top of the ladder.

The Tigers sit undefeated with four wins under their belts but just percentage above the North Warrnambool Eagles.
The Eagles are also flying high this season, fresh off a 50-point thumping of Camperdown last Saturday.
Travelling to Leura Oval, the Eagles found themselves trailing by four points after a low-scoring opening term, but managed to come back in the second to turn the tables and take a five-point lead going into the main break.
A more successful third term saw the Eagles kick 8.7 to 4.5 before extending their lead in the final quarter to take the win 13.14.92 to 6.6.42.
Best for the victors were Will Brennan, Liam Anders, Baillie Keast, Harry Keast, Xavier Harris and Adam Wines.
Charlie McKinnon led the goal scorers for the visitors with four majors, while Samuel McKinnon added two.
Other round four winners included South Warrnambool by 12 points over the Blues, Portland defeated the Seagulls, Hamilton accounted for Cobden and the Bloods snuck over Koroit by just two points.
This weekend will see South Warrnambool travel to Terang to take on the Bloods, Port Fairy will host Cobden, North Warrnambool will take on Portland, Warrnambool will host Camperdown, and Koroit will travel to Hamilton to face the Kangaroos.
