Eccles shows form
GOLFERS enjoyed a stableford event for the Ray Eccles Trophy at the East Framlingham club last Saturday.
Ray (Eccles) himself won the trophy on the day.
The winner of A grade was Brett Willsher on 37 points, followed by Nic Smith 36, Ben Nevill 36, Riley Kelly 36 and Shaun Giblin 34.
The B grade was also won by Ray Eccles, with 43 points, followed by Ben Dinwoodie on 38, Tony Grundy 37, Jim Lewis 35 and Peter Clark 34.
Nearest the pins: 3rd John Eccles, 6th and 9th Ayden Bosse, 7th Glenn Tracey.
The twilight season continued last week, with Dom Kenna taking out the men’s scratch on 39 while the men’s handicap went to Peter Harlock and Ethan Wyss, both on 41-8-33.
The men’s non handicap scratch was won by Jack McConnell on 46 and Adriana Quattrocchi won the ladies’ scratch.
Jon Kelly finished on 65 to take out the junior under 14s scratch.
