Eccles wins at Fram

GERARD Eccles finished on 38 points to win the A grade stableford at East Framlingham Golf Club last Saturday.

The runner-up was Callum Henriksen on 36, followed by Brett Willsher 35, Anthony Eccles 34 and Ben Lee 34.

B grade was won by John Eccles on 34, followed by Rod Mapleson 33, Darren Hansford 31, Glenn Tracey 31 and Jim Lewis 30.

Nearest the pins: 3rd and 9th Brett Willsher, 6th Craig Lee and 7th Gerard Eccles.

The social winner was Harry Trigg.

Next Saturday will be Mulligans.

Eighteen ladies played stableford (secret partners) Charity Day last Tuesday.

The winners were Pauline Armstrong and Jenny Mapleson on 63 points, with Leanne McCann and Mary Brian the runners-up on 59.

Nearest the pins: A grade Annie Carroll, 8th Lyn Cook and 3rd/12th Sharon Suhan.

Next week will be stroke/monthly medal.
