Eccles wins monthly medal

GERARD Eccles took out the monthly medal (stroke) event at East Framlingham Golf Club last weekend.

In cold and wet conditions, Gerard finished on 78-8-70, finishing ahead of Bruce Knee on 90-16-74.

They were followed by John Eccles 94-19-75, Ben Nevill 96-13-76 and Ray Eccles 102-23-79.

Nearest the pins: 3rd and 6th Gerard Eccles, 7th and 9th John Eccles.

The social winner was Jim Lewis.

Next Saturday will be stableford.
