Eisteddfod entries now closed
WITH entries in all divisions now closed, this year’s City of Warrnambool Eisteddfod has once again attracted quality entries from across the region.
The eisteddfod, described as a ‘festival of performance and competition’ will include the prestigious City of Warrnambool Aria (for senior vocal) which will run from May 30-May 31 at Christ Church on Henna Street.
The speech and drama competitions for primary school aged children will be held in the St Pius Hall on Hoddle Street from May 25-29.
The music (instrumental) section will be held from June 1-4 and will include piano, woodwind/brass, strings and harp.
This year’s dance competition will take place in the Lighthouse Theatre (Timor Street) and will run from July 6-11.
