Elford smashes 157 for Raiders
ROUND six of the Warrnambool Moyne District Cricket Association division one premier competition was completed on Saturday.

Port Fairy defended 230 in its game against Mortlake at the DC Farran Oval, bowling the home team out for 119.
Craig Britten top scored for Mortlake with 36, with Jason Perera taking 4/24 from 16 overs for the Pirates.
At the Walter Oval, Noorat Terang had a five run win over Dennington.
Defending 178, Dennington was dismissed for 173 in the 80th over.
Dilip Tharaka top scored for the Dogs with 81, with Gus Bourke leading the Lions bowlers with 4/53 from a marathon 30 overs.
At Henderson Oval, the Northern Raiders piled on 371 chasing Warrnambool’s total of 131.
Captain James Elford smashed 157 from 110 balls, hitting 15 fours and nine sixes in the win.
Warrnambool captain Damon Harrison finished with four wickets.
At the Reid Oval, Nestles declared at 7/162 chasing North Warrnambool’s 100 from day one.
The Eels ended up on 3/122 in its second innings when stumps were called.
At Davidson Oval, Russells Creek resumed at 4/106 and ended up all out for 167, a first innings lead of 73.
Cam Williams top scored with 69, with Joe Douglas taking four wickets for West Warrnambool.
The Panthers had a second innings, making 9/183.
At Jones Oval, Merrivale got the first innings win, making 135 in pursuit of Allansford-Panmure’s 129.
The Gators had a second innings, declaring at 4/131, Merrivale was 6/61 in its second innings when time was called.
A new round of two day matches start this week, with Merrivale hosting Mortlake at Merrivale, Allansford playing Nestles at Allansford, Port Fairy and the Northern Raiders clashing at Avery’s Paddock, Noorat Terang hosting Warrnambool at Terang, West Warrnambool playing North Warrnambool at Davidson Oval and Russells Creek meeting Dennington at Jetty Flat.
In the women’s competition, Koroit had an 18 run win over Mortlake at the DC Farran Oval.
Koroit batted first and made 5/104, led by 61 retired from 31 balls to Steph Townsend.
Mortlake replied with 6/86, Annabelle Glossop making 30 from 25 balls.
At Mack Oval, Nestles had a big win over Russells Creek.
Nestles batted first and made 2/179, led by 61 retired to Gabby Lenehan.
Russells Creek replied with 6/114, captain Brooke Herbertson top scoring with 49 not out.
Hawkesdale with 4/86 chased down Cobden’s 4/84 at Camperdown.
Leah Dickson scored 43 from 73 balls for Cobden, with Jasmine Bowater making an unbeaten 37 for Hawkesdale in the win.
Dennington had a four wicket win over North Warrnambool at Bushfield.
The Eels made 9/113, with an unbeaten 37 from Annabel Wenn leading Dennington to victory.
At Wangoom, Allansford-Panmure had a 47 run win over the home team.
Isabelle Kelly made 43 not out in the Gators score of 5/123, with Wangoom restricted to 8/76 in reply.
Warrnambool had the bye.
This week’s games see Koroit playing Wangoom at Victoria Park, Nestles and Warrnambool will meet at Wenborn Oval, Allansford-Panmure host Cobden at Panmure, Dennington play Mortlake at Dennington and Hawkesdale will host Russells Creek at Hawkesdale.
