Emmanuel students Dare to Dream
EMMANUEL College students are once again set to entertain audiences with another colourful and vibrant musical.

The cast and crew of the school’s 2026 production, ‘Dare to Dream Jr: A Disney Musical Revue’ are now busy in rehearsals and looking forward to seeing large crowds across their four shows next month.
This year’s musical will be a vibrant and inspiring celebration of music, imagination and storytelling.
Head of performing arts at Emmanuel College, Megan Davies, said this year’s production offered students a unique opportunity to shine in a dynamic and contemporary theatrical experience.
“We’re incredibly excited to share Dare to Dream with our community,” Ms Davies said.
“It’s a show that brings together some of Disney’s most beloved songs in a fresh and engaging way, while also giving every student a chance to be part of the storytelling.
“Think of it as a duke box full of Disney classics… the memorable beats just don’t stop for the entire show,” Ms Davies said.
Unlike a traditional musical, Dare to Dream Jr is a revue-style production, weaving together a collection of iconic songs through a light-hearted narrative centred on creativity, collaboration, and the power of dreaming big.
Audiences can look forward to songs from Disney favourites including Toy Story, Frozen, The Lion King, and Cinderella, brought to life through energetic ensemble performances.
“This production is all about ensemble,” Ms Davies said.
“Every performer contributes to the energy and heart of the show. It’s been wonderful to see students supporting each other, building confidence, and developing their skills both on and off the stage.”
Rehearsals have been in full swing since February, with students embracing the challenge of bringing the colourful and fast-paced production to life.
From vocals and choreography to staging and technical elements, the production showcases the breadth of talent within the college’s Performing Arts program.
“Our students have shown incredible dedication and enthusiasm,” Ms Davies said.
“There’s a real sense of joy in the rehearsal room, and we can’t wait for audiences to experience that.”
Emmanuel College looks forward to sharing this upbeat performance with audiences across four shows on June 11, 12 and 13.
