More than 20 children up to the age of five and their families took part in a range of activities centred on science and technology last Tuesday.

The day was supported by playgroup coordinator and F/1 classroom teacher Renae Blake, West Warrnambool Community House coordinator Jill Bourke and Deakin University Bachelor of Social Work student Amy Primmer.

Participants enjoyed science-based experiments such as ‘exploding colourful lemons’ and art with watercolours and lemon.

Every week is a fun week at Toddle on Hoddle, with many events, celebrations, culturally significant days, season and themes all celebrated throughout the year.

Toddle on Hoddle is a free playgroup held at Warrnambool West Primary School (with West Warrnambool Neighbourhood House) each Tuesday of the school term from 9.30am-11am.
