Festive cheer in town

RECORD crowds enjoyed last Sunday’s Koroit Carols despite the windy weather.

An estimated 450 people gathered on Koroit’s Village Green, immersing themselves in the festive spirit for over two hours of non-stop Carols and fun.

“We’re so lucky to have such great talent in our area,” Adele MacDonald said.

“All the performers did a great job and the arrival of Santa on a Koroit CFA truck brought squeals of excitement.”

The event was organised by members of the Koroit Irish Festival and Lions Club of Koroit.
