Field wins at East Fram

ROB Field has taken out the men’s scratch event at East Framlingham Golf Club.

Field finished on 36 to win last Wednesday’s event.

A field of 41 players enjoyed the day’s competition last week, with only three weeks remaining of twilight.

The men’s handicap was won by Will Kenna 48-16-32 while the scratch (handicap) went to Peter Smith 49 and (non-handicap) Mal Peterson 51-16-35.

The ladies’ scratch was won by Margie McKellar with 52-13-39 while the ladies’ handicap went to Cathie West 52.

The longest drive was taken out by Harvey Roberts.

Nearest the pins: 2nd Paddy Scanlon, 3rd Ayden Bosse, 4th Will Kenna, 5th Rob Field, 6th Andrew Bosse, 7th Brett Worral, 8th Will Kenna (snr) and 9th Paddy Scanlon.

The raffle was won by Pat Bourke.
