Finals approach

ROUND 14 was the last round of the Warrnambool darts season before the start of finals.

Macey’s was the venue to be at last week, with Brendan Galloway, Ron Bourke and Sharon Bourke all throwing 21 dart games on the night.

Carol Handley has been playing darts for 51 years – playing with feather darts.

These darts are a nod to the origins of the game.

Feather flights are still handcrafted and used by darts enthusiasts for a nostalgic feel.

The feathers create drag and stabilise the dart in the air, allowing for greater control.

Round 14 results:

Mad Macs def Panmure Bulldogs 8-7, Mixed Nuts def Fill Ins 9-6, Vikings def City Slicers 13-2 and Disorderly Darters had the bye.
