First 180 for Newell

STEVE Newell threw his very first 180 in last week’s Warrnambool darts competition.

There was plenty of excitement when Newell achieved his first 180 at the Cally Hotel.

Paul McDonough from the City Slickers also threw a 180 this round, as did Robert Brittain (Vikings) and Brendan Galloway (Panmure Mixed Nuts).

Colin Drewry form the Vikings had a high peg of 116 on the night.

Panmure Bulldogs def Cally Phoenixes 8-7, Terang Tigers def City Slickers 8-7 and Vikings def Panmure Mixed Nuts 9-6.
