First season loss for Allansford
REIGNING premiers Nirranda handed Allansford its first loss for the season, recording a 32-point win in the round 10 Warrnambool and District senior football match on Saturday.

Down by two points at quarter time, the Blues took control of the game to score a 12.7.79 to 6.11.47 victory at the Allansford Recreation Reserve.
Dylan Parish, Danny Craven and Jarryd Walsh were best for Nirranda, with Parish, Craven and Tyler Coates kicking two goals each.
Best for the Cats were Ben Lee, Bradley Edge and Cooper Hoffmann, with Robbie Hare kicking three goals.
At Panmure, the Bulldogs had a 38-point loss to Kolora-Noorat, 11.8.74 to 4.12.36.
Bradley Lucas, Louis Cahill and Mitchell Wyss were the Power’s best in the win, with Bailey Cooper, Ted Kenna and Justin Wallace kicking two goals each.
For the home team, Jacob Moloney, Declan Bourke and Bailey Smith were best, with Moloney kicking two goals.
An undermanned Timboon Demons team got the points over Merrivale with an 8.6.54 to 6.11.47 win at the Merrivale Recreation Reserve.
Rhys Ziegelaar, Jack Matthews and Joshua McKenzie were the Demons best, with Bayley Thompson kicking five goals.
For Merrivale, Nathan Krepp, Ned Bolden and Jack Neave were best, with Krepp kicking four goals.
At the Mack Oval, Russells Creek were tested by the ever-improving South Rovers, getting over the line by just seven points in their 12.8.80 to 11.7.73 win.
Sam Alberts, Blake Rudland-Castles and Kyle Moloney were best for the Kangaroos in the win, with Lochie Chadderton and Sam Kelly kicking three goals each.
For South Rovers, Patrick Cunningham, Dylan McCutcheon and Liam Bishop were best, with Josh Bell snagging three goals.
Old Collegians had the bye.
In the A grade netball, Nirranda scored a 44-37 win over Allansford.
Matilda Fitzgerald, Thalia Coates and Bella Wallace were best for the Blues, with Steph Townsend shooting 33 goals.
For Allansford, Abby Sheehan, Bec Mitchell and Emma Stacey were best, with Jess Rohan scoring 22 goals and Lilly Sanderson 15.
At Davidson Oval, Old Collegians had a big 101-18 win over Dennington.
Danica Clough, Annabel Lucas and Kate Martin were the Warriors best, with Maggie Kline shooting 51 goals, Chelsea Quinn 28 and Martin 16.
Best for Dennington were Amber Dowd, Bridie Smith and Phoebe Stuart, with Smith shooting eight goals.
Kolora-Noorat was too strong for Panmure, registering a 50-29 win.
Ailish Glennen, Tara Elliott and Molly Bourke were the Power’s best in the win, with Elliott scoring a match high 39 goals.
Best for Panmure were Elizabeth Yeo, Chloe Mckenzie and Cheyenne Rohan, with Marley Talbot shooting 16 goals.
Merrivale had a convincing 57-22 win over Timboon.
For the Tigers, Chloe Lovell, Tahni Porter and Cloe O’Flaherty were best, with Lovell shooting 36 goals.
Bethany Hallyburton, Evie Gordon and Taya Hanegraaf were the Demons best, with Laura Rosolin scoring 11 goals.
Russells Creek got the points over South Rovers with a 39-32 win.
Creek’s best were Fleur Mahoney, Stacy Dunkley and Jaynaya Miller, with Molly Evans shooting 22 goals and Miller 11.
Molly Anderson, Ashlee Pavletich and Lauren Pender were best for South Rovers, with Grace Mugavin scoring 20 goals.
In this week’s round 11 fixtures, South Rovers host Merrivale at Walter Oval, Panmure travel to Timboon to take on the Demons, Kolora-Noorat meets Old Collegians at the Noorat Recreation Reserve, Allansford have the bye in the senior football and play Dennington in the A grade netball, while at the Mack Oval, Russells Creek will host Nirranda.
