Floral artists busy at work

THE August meeting of the Warrnambool Floral Art group saw some beautiful arrangements made.

The theme of the meeting was bouquets.

The group is currently organising a workshop day, to be held on Saturday, October 3.

According to member Susan Rowbottom, the day will run from 11am-3pm at the St Joseph’s Church Hall and will be led by Australian floral art judge Anne Ashby from South Australia.

“Anne will be on hand to give some valuable tips on how best to present various designs and will talk participants through their designs,” Susan said.

“Anyone who has an interest in floral art is welcome to come along and take part or just to watch.”

The next meting of the Warrnambool Floral Art group will be held on Monday, September 7 in the meeting room of Our Lady Help of Christians.
