Former spud picker turns SASR Sergeant

FORMER Koroit spud picker turned SASR Sergeant, Shaun Parker, will be special guest of the West Warrnambool Cricket Club next weekend.

Shaun has been invited to speak at the Davidson Oval social rooms on Caramut Road next Saturday, December 6.

Shaun will speak about his journey from picking spuds in Koroit, to becoming a Sergeant in the SAS, running highly sensitive, nationally-significant missions on the global stage.

Doors will open at 7pm for an 8pm start.

Admission is just $35 per adult and $20 for children under 18 with supper included.

Five dollars from every ticket sold will be donated to the Krait Foundation.
