Fun in the sun for families

THE sun was shining and the games were out as families headed to Lake Pertobe for a special Easter treat on Saturday.

The family fun day attracted a large crowd to the lawn area near the main playground, with children of all ages enjoying a range of fun games and activities.

From drawing and bubble making to puppet shows and an Easter egg hunt there was something for everyone.

Hosted by the Warrnambool and District Easter Arts Festival, the day proved one of community and connection.

“This is just wonderful,” Amy (a visitor from Geelong) said.

“Our family is camping at the caravan park here and we’re absolutely loving it. There’s so much to see and do in Warrnambool and this free event is amazing.”
