Fundraiser a success for WRAD Health
A CROWD of around 50 people enjoyed a special Sportsperson’s Night in Warrnambool last Friday, raising some much-needed funds for WRAD Health.

The evening saw close to $1650 raised, with the crowd treated to an entertaining and informative talk from special guest and current dual AFLW premiership coach, Darren Crocker.
“A huge thanks to Darren and his wife for making the trip to Warrnambool and generously giving their time to support our fundraising evening,” Mark Powell, former CEO of WRAD Health said.
“It was a fantastic night for our community.
“Darren’s stories, his insight and genuine connection with the crowd made the night something really special; and to everyone who came along we say thank you. Your support, energy and willingness to show up for a cause that matters doesn’t go unnoticed. “
Mr Powell said nights like last Friday evening act as a reminder of just how strong the local community is.
“We’re also incredibly grateful to all those who donated raffle and door prizes, as well the volunteers who organised the event,” said.
“Your generosity helped us raise important funds that go directly back into delivering the services our community relies on every day. This is what community looks like, people coming together, supporting one another, and making a real difference.
“The value of connection showed through.”
Funds raised on the evening will go directly towards sustaining and strengthening WRAD Health’s essential frontline supports.
This includes clinical equipment, program resources and service delivery tools not fully funded through existing funding streams.
