Hockey season to commence
HOCKEY enthusiasts of all ages and abilities are welcome to join Hockey South West for the 2026 season.
This week sees the start of the junior competition.
The under 8/10 and under 12 (small sided competition) will start tomorrow, Saturday, April 25 and run throughout terms two and three in Warrnambool each Saturday morning.
The under 15 and under 18 competitions also start this weekend, with the 15s to play each Wednesday and Saturday and the under 18s every Friday.
This Saturday also sees the start of the 2026 open full pitch senior hockey competition for women (played in fives).
This will run every Saturday from 11am-12noon or noon-1pm.
The open mixed full pitch competition will be played between 4.30pm and 6pm Saturdays and from 6pm-7.30pm Mondays.
