A crowd estimated at close to 600 people made their way through the gate and spent the day wondering the many stalls and enjoying an array of exhibitions.

A blade shearing demonstration proved popular, with shearers travelling from as far afield as Bendigo to take part.

A tractor pull was also a crowd favourite, as was the display of wood working tools and sawmilling.

“The hand held wood planes, an axe handle making machine, some drag saws, old crosscut saws, circular saw blades and a trewhalla tree pulling winch all drew good crowds,” organiser David Bartlett said.

“A modern Lucas saw mill proved intriguing for many visitors, and we were thrilled to also have a large selection of vintage cars, motorbikes and trucks, as well as stationary motors of all shapes and sizes.

“A large display of tools wired to boards, and a display of old hand beaters for cake making also helped make this year’s rally a very successful one.”
