Visitors will step into the historic village over the weekend of October 10 and 11, meet live characters from Warrnambool’s maritime past, uncover clues and work together to solve the mystery before time runs out.

The experience runs for around 60 minutes, with groups departing every 15 minutes.

It is family-friendly and suitable for all ages, with the puzzles and clues particularly suited to children aged eight and over.

There will also be plenty happening across the village throughout the weekend, including live music and the cannon firing at 1.30pm each day.

Stella Maris Tearooms will be open serving hot food and Devonshire teas, while Mrs Kucks Lolly Shop will have plenty of sweet treats available.

Flagstaff Hill sales and marketing coordinator Rachel Edwards said the weekend offered visitors a different way to experience the village.

“People won’t just be watching history, they’ll actually become part of the story,” she said.

“It’s a great opportunity for families to explore the village, meet the characters, solve the mystery and enjoy everything else happening across the weekend.”

Eligible Warrnambool municipality residents who are members of the Flagstaff Hill Ambassador Program receive free entry.

More information and bookings are available at flagstaffhill.com.
