Kelly wins at East Fram
GREG Kelly took out the A grade stroke/monthly medal at East Framlingham Golf Club last weekend.
Saturday’s event once again attracted a quality field, with Kelly finishing on 83-17-66 to win from runner-up Leigh Chilton 83-13-70.
In third place in A grade was Neil McDonald on 91-20-71 followed by Brett Willsher 77-6-71 and Brad White 91-20-71.
B grade was won by Trevor Williams 91-24-67, followed by Liam Drake 93-21-72, Sam Melican 95-22-73, Jim Lewis 97-23-74 and Callum Henriksen 98-24-74.
Nearest the pins: 3rd and 6th Craig Lee, 7th Callum Henriksen and 9th Liam Drake.
The social winner was Justin Fedley while the monthly medal was won by Greg Kelly.
This Saturday will be stableford.
Twenty-eight ladies played stableford/second round of the captain’s trophy – and three played nine holes.
The A grade winner was Barb Hill on 31 points, with Gwenda Malseed the runner-up on 30.
B grade was won by Sue Cassidy on 34, followed by Carol Parsons on 32.
C grade was won by Adriana Quattrochi on 35, with Jenny Mapleson runner-up on 34.
The nine hole competition was won by Shirley Scott on 14 points.
Nearest the pins: A grade Marg McKellar, B grade Cheryl Carroll and C grade Jo Fischer.
The 3rd/12th went to Gail Norris and Maureen O’Loughlan was closest on the super pin.
