Ladder leaders to meet
MERRIVALE and Allansford will meet in a round four top-of-the-table clash in the Warrnambool District League tomorrow.
The game, to be held at the Allansford Recreation Reserve, will no doubt be a tight one.
Just percentage separates the two clubs, with Merrivale on top having already played its round five match (a win over Old Collegians) on Good Friday.
Both sides will be coming off big round three wins and will be looking to cement their position on the league ladder.
Last weekend saw Merrivale enjoy a 76-point win over South Rovers in front of a home crowd while Allansford accounted for Dennington by 52 points.
In other round four district league matches this weekend, Old Collegians will host Dennington, Panmure will be home to Kolora Noorat, South Rovers and Russells Creek will meet at Walter Oval while Nirranda will host the Demons.
