Ladies enjoy spring tournament

SIXTY-four players from various clubs enjoyed the Cassign Ladies Spring Tournament earlier this week.

The tournament, held on Tuesday at the East Framlingham Golf Club, was won by Port Fairy’s Tracey Dark, Brenda Elliott, Robyn Hose and Leanne Brumley on 88 points.

The runners-up were Barb Hill, Delwyn Wilkinson, Annemaree Hooker and Julie Mahney from East Framlingham and Warrnambool.

They finished second on countback from Julie Kenna, Annie Carroll, Gail Norris and Judy Carmody (East Framlingham and Terang).

Nearest the pins: 3rd/12th local Jen Herman, visitor Kate O’Connell; 8th visitor Delwyn Wilkinson.

Straightest drive on the 1st and 10th were Jen Herman (local) and Delwyn Wilkinson (visitor).
