Learn more about John Griffiths

JOHN Griffiths and his significance to Griffiths Island will be the topic of conversation at the annual meeting of the ‘Friends of Griffiths Island’ this month.

Keynote speaker Brendan O’Toole will explain the relationship between John Griffiths and the island named after him.

The group’s annual report, with detailed information from its ‘Lights Out for the Flight’ campaign for the shearwaters, will also be presented.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 21 at the Port Fairy Community House in Railway Place.

The meeting will start at 7pm.
