Local businesses to share their stories

FOR those who have an idea but don’t know where to start, or who enjoy story-telling, ‘Behind the Success’ is an event not to be missed.

By Staff Writer

Presented by The Ideas Place, ‘Behind the Success’ will feature a panel of local business owners who will share their stories of creating a business.

To be held on Thursday, November 30, the event will be hosted by Karen Foster of the Future You Academy and podcast.

Panel members will provide key insights into their successes and challenges along the way.

This will include Sam Rudolph from Noodledoof, Tigh Farley (Monday Distillery), Shelley Husband (Shelley Husband Crochet), Ben Pohler (Volcano Produce), Tara Fry and Natalie McGregor (The Social Connection) and Lucinda Newton (LUONE).

Moyne Shire mayor Ian Smith said the panel members would provide a great dose of inspiration.

“This is a unique opportunity to hear from six of Moyne Shire’s most successful entrepreneurs, who turned their ideas into profitable businesses,” Cr Smith said.

“An audience Q&A will follow the panel interviews, so guests are urged to bring all their burning questions.

“There will also be a chance to mingle with the panellists and have a chat after the formal part of the evening.”

Tickets will include a free drink on arrival and finger food by Noodledoof.

Entry for children is free.

The Ideas Place is made possible through funding provided by LaunchVic and supported by Warrnambool City Council, Corangamite Shire Council, Moyne Shire Council, South West TAFE and The Fletcher Jones Foundation.
