Long lunch to benefit others
MORE than 100 guests enjoyed a very special ‘long lunch’ in Warrnambool last weekend.

Hosted by the Rotary Club of Warrnambool Daybreak, last Sunday marked the return of the event after a 12-month hiatus.
“The event was strongly supported, with guests enjoying beautiful food, fine wine, excellent service and a wonderful ambience,” club member Di Brown said.
“The lunch also gave us the opportunity to raise funds for local charities.
“This year the proceeds will be shared between West Warrnambool Neighbour-hood House and Foodshare Warrnambool.”
Ms Brown said West Warrnambool Neighbourhood House aims to bring people within the community together to meet, socialise and learn through a range of programs.
With a new purpose-built facility, the house is looking forward to being able to welcome even more members of the community.
Foodshare is a not-for-profit organisation with more than 100 volunteers and over 100 partner organisations who help distribute emergency food to over 70,000 people each year across south west Victoria through emergency food programs.
“It was a lovely day and we thank everyone who attended.
“The lunch was enjoyed in the Matilda Rooms at the Warrnambool Race Club which provided an ideal setting.”
