With a fast, flat and friendly multi-lap course set in the heart of Port Fairy, the 2026 event will no doubt once again attract a quality field of competitors next Sunday, February 22.

With World Athletics AIMS certification, the marathon course is wide, car free and with no stairs, allowing for fast times and easier pacing while maintaining the amazing views and atmosphere Port Fairy is renowned for.

In 2026 the race medals have a lanyard designed and painted specifically for the event by talented local artist, Liam Murphy.

The 42.2km marathon will start at 7am from Railway Place (Gipps Street/Bank Street) with the four-lap course incorporating roads taking in the sites of East Beach, The Wharf, South Beach and Gipps Street.

Also beginning at 7am will be the 21.1km half marathon, while the 10km race will start at 10am.

Those wishing to enter the five kilometre race need to be ready for an 11am start, while the 1.5 kilometre runners will head off at 11.45am.

No matter what your age or ability, pull on your runners, lace up and head to Port Fairy next Saturday for what will no doubt once again be an amazing day of fun and competition.

Entries can be placed on line prior to the event or registrations will be taken on the day.
