Memorial Day attracts strong field

SIXTY-four ladies were eager to test their skills at last Tuesday’s Val Millard Memorial Day tournament.

The ladies, representing various clubs across the district, enjoyed a great day out on the greens.

Close behind on 81 points, representing East Framlingham, were Robyn McLeod, Jo Porter, Wendy Batten and Adrianna Quattrocchi.

Fellow East Framlingham golfers, Sue Henderson, Pauline Armstrong, Clare Clarke and Maureen O’Loughlin, finished in third on 80 points.

Nearest the pins: 3rd and 12th Nellie Cashmore, 8th Kathryn Robertson.

The longest putt on the sixth and 15th holes went to Wendy Batten.

The straightest drive on both the first and 10th holes was Deb McLeod.
