Mixed results for Rangers
WARRNAMBOOL Rangers senior men’s sides met under lights for a Thursday night derby last week.

Blue defeated Teal 2-1, with strong performances from Ryan Bail and Nathan Frank (Blue) and Dan Campbell for the Teal team.
The senior women had a tough game on Sunday against Wolves at Brierly, with Wolves getting the win 4-2.
The whole Rangers team put in a mighty effort despite not having a bench, but it was Lucy Dodson and Charlotte Wythe who were the stand-outs on the day.
The under 17s travelled to Hamilton where, after a whole team effort, they came away with a 3-1 win (some excellent coaching by Lwandile).
Under 14 Teal travelled to Ararat to take on Grampians.
Teal continues to be undefeated so far this season, defeating Grampians 5-1.
Harvey Townsend was named player of the match.
Under 14 Blue defeated Wolves Black 6-0, with Logan Wythe kicking a hattrick and being named player of the match.
Team-mates Evan Pye and Kaan Torun also put in a good performance for the team.
Under 13 Teal travelled to Colac and lost 5-2.
Ella Ruff and Sophie Sutton were stand-outs for the Rangers team.
Under 13 Blue defeated Wolves 7-2.
The ‘A team’ of Ava Sabo, Amelia Stutchbury and Asha Roberts all put in strong performances.
Under 12 Teal also celebrated a win, defeating Grampians at Ararat 3-1, with Eddie Townsend named player of the match.
Under 12 Blue defeated Wolves Black 5-1 at Brierly, with Flynn Till kicking a hattrick.
Under 10 Teal had the bye.
Under 10 Blue had a tough game against a strong Hamilton side, with Caloway Sicely named player of the match for Rangers.
The under 8s played against Wolves Yellow at Brierly and had a good game, with some outstanding defence efforts shown by Rangers’ players Freddie Clark and Sam Battistello.
