The movie night, which will be held at Warrnambool’s Capitol Theatre on Thursday, April 30, is the next major fundraiser for the health service.

Local businesses and community members are encouraged to be part of this exciting event.

Organisers are currently seeking donations of raffle prizes or small items for gift bags to help make the evening both enjoyable and successful.

“Contributions from local businesses make a significant difference and will be acknowledged on the night,” WRAD Health fundraising committee member, Carolyn Monaghan, said.

“Your support will help strengthen essential community health services and ensure people in our region continue to have access to care close to home.”

WRAD Health is a not-for-profit, community based health service providing essential bulk-billing medical, mental health, and alcohol and other drug services across the great south coast.

Every day WRAD Health supports individuals and families through its bulk-billing GP clinic at Handbury Medical suites.

Among many services on offer are alcohol and other drug treatment and recovery programs, pharmacotherapy and medical care, family education and peer support programs, and allied health and wellbeing services.

“This month’s movie evening will bring together members of our community to enjoy a great movie while raising funds to support WRAD Health’s vital local health services,” Ms Monaghan said.

Movie goers are welcome to arrive from 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

Raffles and a lucky draw prize will also be on offer.
