Musicians return to City Bowls
THE Warrnambool City Bowls Club will come alive with music next Tuesday, April 15.

Peter Coad and The Coad Sisters, along with the Runaway Dixie Show, will return to the venue for what looks set to be an entertaining three hour performance from 1pm.
Peter Coad and The Coad Sisters (Virginia and Lynette) are an award winning, multi-talented concert act.
They present their own popular original songs of Aussie character and bush stories, along with a sprinkling of classic Australiana, bush ballads and multi-instrumental variety.
They have taken their concert show across Australia for more than 30 years and still regularly tour and perform at festivals.
With a huge recording catalogue between them, they are multi- awarded songwriters, Tamworth Hands of Fame recipients, and Barmera Hands of Fame Recipients.
Peter Coad was also awarded an OAM for his services to country music at Government House, New South Wales in 2017.
The group will once again be joined in Warrnambool by Runaway Dixie.
Runaway Dixie formed in early 2009 and have been touring and appearing at festivals and events ever since.
Jim Hermel has been full-time in music for over 50 years, touring Australia and internationally.
The combination of Jim, Virginia and Lynette as Runaway Dixie created a new outlet for the three artists in regard to songwriting and music.
Runaway Dixie music is traditional bluegrass, gospel, and vibrant country classics and the trio’s original compositions relate to that theme.
Runaway Dixie has released five albums and has been nominees in the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Golden Guitar Awards of Australia with their original material.
In May 2017, Runaway Dixie represented Australia at the Mississippi State Bi-Centennial Celebrations as part of the Jimmie Rodgers Festival in Meridian, Mississippi USA.
Tickets for next week’s Warrnambool performance can be purchased at the door for $25.
