New single launches Saturday
WARRNAMBOOL-based band, Convict Class, will launch its new single in town tomorrow (Saturday).
The new single, titled ‘Conspiracy Theory’ has been released on a 7’ record and is also available to listen to on all music streaming services.
The band is excited to see the release of their coloured vinyl, which also has an insert thanking fans.
“We wanted to acknowledge our fans by making a collage of them wearing our merchandise at home, work and at shows,” band member Shane Stenhouse said.
“We love engaging with our fans and are blown away by the support they show us.”
The band travelled to Melbourne for the recording and are thrilled with how the two songs sound and look.
Saturday’s launch, which will take place at Prehistoric Sounds in Kepler Street from 1pm-2pm, will also be an opportunity for fans to purchase merchandise – which will help them fundraise for their upcoming tour of the UK and Belgium.
“It’s going to be a massive year for us,” Stenhouse said.
“We have the single out now, will be recording our debut album in May and will head overseas in July.”
On return to Australia Convict Class will playing in Brisbane, The Gold Coast, Geelong, Ballarat, Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide to promote their new Album.
“It really is an exciting time for us and the hard work we have put in is really starting to pay off,” Stenhouse said.
