One day format returns tomorrow
THE one day format returns to Warrnambool Moyne Cricket Association this weekend.

Round eight of the Premier division competition will be the last played before the Christmas break, with round nine of matches scheduled for Saturday, January 10.
This weekend will see Allansford-Panmure travel to Mortlake to take on the Cats, while Noorat Terang will host West Warrnambool and Warrnambool will meet Port Fairy at Brierly Reserve.
Other round eight games tomorrow (Saturday) will see Nestles and Russells Creek meet at Reid Oval, North Warrnambool will host Merrivale and the Northern Raiders will be home to Dennington.
Allansford-Panmure will head into tomorrow’s final round of the year sitting on top of the ladder, just seven points ahead of nearest rivals Russells Creek.
The Gators will be coming off a win at home over the sixth-placed Nestles last weekend.
The home side managed to contain the visitors to 8/96 after 47 overs on Saturday, with Joe Kenna the best of the bowlers finishing the day with figures of 2/14 from 11 overs, while team-mate Brandon Bant took 2/28 off eight.
Best with the bat for Nestles in their second innings was Tim Ludeman with an unbeaten 33 from 107 deliveries, while team-mate Corey Chantrill hit an impressive 34 from 37 deliveries which included four boundaries and a six.
Allansford-Panmure also sits top-of-the-table in the league’s championship division, closely followed by Spring Creek.
