Perfect weather for a fun day out

BATHED in spring sunshine, a large crowd gathered at the Warrnambool Showgrounds last Sunday for what was a fun-filled, free day out.

Families from across the district took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy a free day of activities.

Visitors were spoilt for choice, with everything from face painting and hula hoops through to music, astro art, smoothie bikes and footy clinics.

The carnival was organised as a family-friendly celebration of wellbeing, connection and community in honour of mental health month and carers week.

It provided visitors with the opportunity to play, explore, learn, create and connect with local organisations who are there to help support locals.
