Pins, pride and podium finish
SOME of Warrnambool’s most talented young 10-pin bowlers showed plenty of skill during last weekend’s Junior Country Cup.
The Warrnambool junior 10-pin bowling team of Bailey Grandell, Declan Membery, Connor Bonham, Maliah Mason, Dakota Smith, Ella Mackenzie and team manager Nick Membery celebrate their gold medal win in the graded division at last weekend’s Junior Country Cup at ‘The Bowl’ Warrnambool.

‘The Bowl’ was a hive of colour and excitement during the two-day tournament, which saw local youngster Declan Membery take out the ‘High Game’ award with an impressive score of 266.
The tournament attracted eight teams, some travelling from as far as Ballarat, Bendigo and Latrobe.

Maliah Mason and Connor Bonham both took home a Little Darcy Sportsmanship Award while Dakota Smith was named in the female all-stars team.
